UK's Nest Productions has partnered with Studio 1 to provide production services on its new US quiz game show format "Lucky 13" for ABC. The team worked both on the pilot, shot in Salford and on last month’s broadcast production at Worre Studios in Las Vegas, which marks the first time the facilities had been used for broadcast purposes.

The quiz game show "Lucky 13" produced by Studio 1 and hosted by Gina Rodriguez and Shaquille O’Neil, will show on ABC beginning July 18th and will be available to stream on Hulu.

Adrian Woolfe serves as creator and showrunner. Mark Wells and Glenn Coomber are executive producers together with Kevin Bacon, Aaron Stone, Marcus Lemonis, Alastair Burlingham, Gary Raskin, David Schiff, Scott Henry and GW Wright. Shaquille O’Neal’s Jersey Legends Productions is producing with O’Neal, Colin Smeeton and Michael Parris serving as executive producers. I Can & I Will Productions is co-producer with Gina Rodriguez serving as executive producer.

Stew Batt, co-founder and joint MD of Nest Productions says, “We’re so thrilled to be partnered with Adrian and the Studio 1 team. Working with Studio 1 on this from pilot stage to filming the first series has been a fun journey and we are excited for everyone to see this brilliant new game show format.”

Adrian Woolfe, co-founder and CEO of Studio 1 says, “The Nest team were brilliant partners on 'Lucky 13'. This was an ambitious, large-scale production and they met every challenge calmly, effectively and with a solutions-led mindset.”

“Lucky 13” tests contestants’ knowledge with 13 true-or-false trivia questions but with a cunning twist: Just how well do they know what they know … and, just as importantly, how well do they know what they don’t know? If they can accurately predict how successfully they’ve answered 13 questions, they could take home a $1 million cash jackpot.
