Nicely Entertainment debut a slate of romantic comedies and holiday titles to The Roku Channel. The five titles will be available in the U.S., with select titles also streaming in Canada and the U.K.“We’re thrilled to partner with Roku and we know that audiences will love having free access to these films on The Roku Channel," commented Vanessa Shapiro, CEO, Nicely Entertainment. “The AVOD market is quickly emerging as our industry’s next major rights category and Roku is one of the strongest players in the space. So many great opportunities ahead as the AVOD market expands and Nicely's digital distribution footprint continues to grow; we're very excited for the opportunities in this realm."

The five exclusives include three titles co-produced by Nicely Entertainment with Sappy Films USA:  the romantic comedy “10 Steps to Love,” starring Ella Cannon and Britton Web, about a successful marketing executive who has always relied on her “10 Steps” lists for success in everything she does and decides to use the technique to find her true love, as well as “A Christmas Wish in Hudson,” starring Alex Rinehart, which tells the story of an unlucky-in-love software developer who gets a little help from a widowed firefighter’s daughter as she seeks out a love match;  and in Christmas Lovers Anonymous, starring Brooke Burfitt  and Houston Rhimes, a best-selling author hides her love for Christmas after an ugly breakup and finds love again when joining a website for people who are crazy about Christmas.

The slate also includes Wedding Cake Dreams,"" starring Donna Benedicto and Markian Tarasiuk, a romantic comedy co-produced with Canada’s BRB Studios about a cake designer who, as a young girl, had put a piece of wedding cake under her pillow hoping to dream of her future husband, and at her sister’s wedding finds out that her best man is the “man of her dreams;”  and My Boss’ Wedding, starring Brigitte Kingsley, tells the story of a personal assistant tasked with planning her boss' wedding, but the issue is, she hates weddings.

Nicely will also bring titles for their second U.S. window, including "My Best Friend’s Wedding," "Save the Wedding," "Christmas Wedding Runaway" for UpTV and three movies that had premiered on BYUtv, as well as "A Very Corgi Christmas," "A Christmas Village," and "Shoelaces for Christmas" to The Roku Channel on a non-exclusive basis.  The company continues pushing out appriopriate titles for SVOD platforms.
