The family-friendly holiday movie "Christmas on the Ranch" will premiere exclusively on Hulu on November 1, 2024. The film follows a talk show relationship expert with her own romantic hang-ups who gets stranded at a ranch before Christmas, and the charming rancher who reminds her that love is always worth the risk. "Christmas on the Ranch" can be streamed exclusively on Hulu beginning November 1, 2024, and will be available on additional platforms in Q4 of 2025.
"Christmas on the Ranch" was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Danny Buday, who directed "Second Chance Christmas" (2017) for UPtv, "Country Christmas Album" (2018) for ION Television, and several features for Lifetime. The film stars Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Jade Harlow (Amazon’s "The Bay"), Houston Rhines ("A Christmas Switch"), and Saige Chaseley ("Christmas with Felicity").
Very Merry partners John W. Bosher and Chris Charles produced "Christmas on the Ranch" with Jonathan Bross serving as an executive producer. Additional executive producers include Vanessa Shapiro and Scott Kirkpatrick of Nicely Entertainment, Suzanne C. Johnson, Michael Okun, Arlene Okun, and Jeremy Warner. Nicely brokered the exclusive premiere with Hulu and is handling worldwide distribution; Nicely will be offering the international rights at MIPCOM in Cannes.
Filmed on location in Chicago and the northwest suburbs, "Christmas on the Ranch" is the third collaboration between production company Very Merry Entertainment and Nicely Entertainment and the second exclusive premiere with Hulu following the release of "Reporting for Christmas", which premiered as a Top 10 new release last year. Hulu is one of the biggest streaming platforms with over 50 million subscribers and is now available as part of the Disney Bundle subscriptions.
