Nicely Entertainment has announced that its hit family drama “Crossroad Springs” has been renewed for a second season by Great American Media. The news comes after a strong showing at Mipcom 2025, where the company also secured the series' first international sale in the Benelux region. The deal was brokered by Rachel Siegenthaler, Vice President of International Sales, with additional territory announcements expected soon.
“We’re thrilled to continue the journey of ‘Crossroad Springs’ with our amazing partners at Great American Media and Brain Power Studios,” said Vanessa Shapiro, CEO and founder of Nicely Entertainment. “The series has truly connected with audiences through its message of resilience and hope; we can’t wait to share more stories from the Hamilton family, starting with a heartwarming Christmas special later this year.”
Season two of “Crossroad Springs” will consist of 10 one-hour episodes and is scheduled to go into production in spring 2026, ahead of a fall 2026 premiere on Great American Family. In parallel, a holiday special titled “Crossroad Springs Christmas” will debut in December 2025, featuring original music performances by series leads Jonathan Stoddard and Jillian Cardarelli.
Produced in partnership with Brain Power Studios, “Crossroad Springs” centers on the Hamilton family — adult siblings James and Janet, their father Willis, and Aunt Amy — as they return to their hometown to save the family ranch amid financial difficulties and long-standing rivalries. The show blends themes of family, faith, and community, with James launching a cowboy church under the open skies.
The cast includes Jonathan Stoddard, Emily Alatalo, Shaun Johnston, Kate Drummond, Brittany Underwood, Jesse Hutch, Jon McLaren, Erin Agostino, and Franco Lo Presti.
Nicely Entertainment, founded by Shapiro in 2020, has quickly established itself as a global leader in feel-good entertainment. With a catalog of more than 140 movies and over 25 new titles released annually, Nicely’s content regularly airs on Hallmark, Lifetime, Hulu, Netflix, and Great American Family. In addition to “Crossroad Springs,” the company has co-produced series including Netflix’s “Dive Club,” CBC’s “The Christmas Checklist,” and “Gymnastics Academy: A Second Chance!”
“Crossroad Springs” continues to solidify its position as a growing franchise for the family content market, combining high production value, universal themes, and strategic international growth.
