"Pantanal" arrives in Latin America through Paramount+ and Chilevision

Since its premiere in March 2022, the Globo soap opera reached 35.8 million viewers per day, becoming the production with the highest audience in Brazil.

The soap opera "Pantanal" that broke records during the stellar schedule of the Brazilian open TV on Globo, is now available in Latin America through the Premium Paramount+ Content Platform and on the Chilevisión open TV channel, after CHV Noticias.

Written 32 years ago by Benedito Ruy Barbosa, 'Pantanal' was adapted by his grandson, Bruno Luperi, and has Rogério Gomes and Gustavo Fernandez as directors. The cast includes names like Marcos Palmeira ('Sweet Diva'), Murilo Benício ('The Clone'), Juliana Paes ('India: A Love Story'), Renato Góes ('Orphans of a Nation’), and others. 

The series tells the story of a young man who, after the mysterious disappearance of his father, Juventino, the pawn José Leoncio becomes a rich Pantanal farmer. More than twenty years have passed and, bitter by the disappearance of his father and his wife's flight to Rio de Janeiro with his baby son, José Leoncio has the opportunity to reconcile with the child, now a young man who was raised in the great city with values and habits very different from yours.

Since its premiere in March 2022, it reached 35.8 million viewers per day, becoming the production with the highest audience in Brazil. The soap opera was already licensed for more than 100 territories and is currently broadcast in SIC in Portugal and HRT in Croatia
