French companies Procidis and Samka announced international sales for its new series “Once Upon a Time… The Objects”. The series has been already launched on Switzerland’s RTS since December 2023 and Israel’s Hot, where the show is currently available on Hot VOD young and Zoom Toon since April 2024. Also, France Télévisions is broadcasting the show on the Okoo Apps (the France Télévisions’ digital platform dedicated to the youth audience) since February 2024.

The series will also arrive soon on TV5MONDE during June in Africa, Europe (with the exception of France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg), Asia, Pacific, Maghreb-Orient, U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean, and also on TiVi5MONDE targeting youth audiences (U.S., Africa and Maghreb-Orient) and on TV5MONDEplus.

Procidis / Hello Maestro and Samka also announced new broadcast partners such as paid TV’s Minimax (AMC Network International) for Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Croatia. In Finland, the show will premiere on YLE during the second semester of 2024.

A few weeks ago, the companies also closed a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery Italy for airing on the pay TV channel Boomerang and - for the free to air - on Cartoonito in Autumn 2024.

Hélène Barillé, CEO and Producer of Procidis, said: “When I decided to make my first series, ‘Once Upon a Time…’, the challenge was to create a season that would enrich the saga, not eclipse it. I wanted broadcasters and viewers to see it as part of a 90-hour fresco. It had to remain first and foremost a public service, adapting to today’s media and audiences while remaining faithful to Maestro’s DNA and philanthropic values. We are proud to present 'Once Upon a Time... The Objects', the latest addition to the Hello Maestro saga.”

"After discovering that every object hides a fabulous story, children will look at their everyday lives with fresh eyes. They'll feel that knowledge is a source of pleasure,” added Samuel Kaminka, CEO and Producer of Samka

Since its first broadcast back in 1978, the “Once Upon a Time…” saga has never stopped being broadcast in France, translated into 80 languages, and is still aired in numerous countries. Maestro continues to be known in more than 100 countries.
