"Syndicates: Inside Germany's Underworld"
Quintus Studios has started production on "Syndicates: Inside Germany's Underworld", a new 6 x 60’ documentary crime series which has been pre-bought by ProSiebenSat.1 Media for its free to air TV channel Kabel Eins.
"Syndicates: Inside Germany’s Underworld" is an investigative documentary series which explores Germany’s complex black market. Each episode will focus on different underworld crimes operating inside Germany, including illegal wildlife trading and the black market for stolen vehicles, revealing the criminal entities behind them.
Adam Jacobs, Creative Director at Quintus Studios, who commissioned the series and is executive producer said; “We are delighted to be partnering with Kabel 1 on this exciting and provocative project that gets under the skin of Germany's criminal underworld. Our exclusive access gets us up close and personal to the key protagonists involved and is another great example of our nimble commissioning strategy.”
The series is produced in-house by Development and Production Executive Frederick Gillingham and Creative Director Adam Jacobs. Quintus Studios will be presenting the series at MIPCOM.
Head of Sales and Co-Productions Anouk van Dijk brokered the agreement with ProSiebenSat.1 Media and will be handling international distribution for Quintus Studios.
