Trinity Creative Partnership has acquired UK sales rights for the highly-anticipated historical war film Love, Courage and the Battle for Bushy Run, launching at AFM this week and set for release in 2024. "We're excited to have secured an all rights deal for the UK on this film which we believe will do justice to this incredible story," Andy Taylor, Commercial Director for Trinity said. "Based on true events that changed the course of history, this captivating drama is set to make waves in the entertainment industry."

A historical drama set against the backdrop of the "Battle of Bushy Run" in 1763, "Love, Courage and the Battle for Bushy Run" is directed by Dave Alan Johnson and multiple award-winning Larry A. McClean and written by Charlie Richards. The title sheds light on the untold stories surrounding this famous battle, which became a defining moment in American history, the film stars Adam Baldwin, Jackson Hurst, Rachel Hendrix, Tom Connolly, Rachele Schank and J. Michael Finley.

The agreement to manage all rights for Love, Courage and the Battle for Bushy Run in the UK was facilitated by Executive Producer Solomon J LeFlore, Founder and Managing Director of EFG-Renascence Production. “As a lifelong member of Film Independent and the Independent Film and Television Alliance (“IFTA”), my mission as a writer-producer-executive is to champion creative independence in visual storytelling in all its forms, and to foster a culture of inclusion," L.A. based LeFlore said.

"The Battle of Bushy Run," a significant event during Pontiac's War, unfolds in the aftermath of Britain's triumph over France in 1763. This clash of cultures and strategies during a time of immense tension in the American Colonies takes centre stage. As Native tribes, driven by fear of British retaliation, unite under the leadership of Ottawa Chief Pontiac, the film explores the unconventional and brutal tactics employed in their quest to capture Fort Pitt. Simultaneously, Colonel Henry Bouquet and his diverse group of British soldiers, Scottish Highlanders and American volunteers find themselves tasked with protecting the lives of hundreds who face certain doom within Fort Pitt. This lesser-known chapter of history is brought to life in a dramatic tale of survival and strategy.

"I’m so happy to work with Andy Taylor and Trinity Creative Partnership to get The Battle of Bushy Run, our entertaining, commercial film and its fascinating and historically important story to the UK and worldwide audiences," LeFlore said. "Like other successful heroic Historical-Action-Dramas (Dances With Wolves, The Last of the Mohicans and The Patriot) this film is sure to entertain and inspire meaningful discussions.”
