DFW International to showcase “Silverstar” at AFM 2021

The 2CFILM production directed by Diede in ’t Veld is currently in its post-production stage. The show will be showcased between today and 5th November at the media event.

DFW International has added a new family title to its catalogue. Silverstar will be launched  at AFM from 1 to 5 November.  The film about showcases the adventures of a young girl and her best friend, the white horse Silverstar. Currently in its post-proudction stage, Silverstar is directed by Diede in ’t Veld with screenplay by Michiel Peereboom, and produced by 2CFILM with DFW International handling international distribution.

16-year-old Esmee is wild about horses. Her grandmother however, where she is staying, is totally against horse riding. Esmee finds the young horse Silverstar when he escapes a fire at the riding stables and the two form a special bond. Following the fire at the stables, an offer of help arrives from a horse trader, but can she be trusted?  Following the show "Whitestar," Esmee finds out that something strange is going on, but nobody will listen to her. To save Silverstar, she sees no alternative but to run away with the horse.
