VIACOMCBS EXTENDS HEIDI KLUM’S “GERMANY’S NEXT TOP MODEL” DEAL

The Multi-season format deal based on an "America's Next Top Model" adaptation, was produced by Redseven Entertainment, and is set to air on ProSieben. It was ranked the #1 series in Germany among young adults ages 14-29 in 2019 and 2010.

ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group has signed a multi-season format rights deal for "Germany's Next Top Model" in Germany. The extension was announced today. “This new multi-season agreement in Germany, which continues the series with Heidi Klum at the helm, is a testament to the strength and quality of this format,” said Paul Gilbert, Senior Vice President, Formats at ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group.

The show was produced by Redseven Entertainment, and is set to air on ProSieben. Hosted by Heidi Klum who also serves as one of the executive producers, the German adaptation of the U.S. series "America's Next Top Model," hosted by Tyra Banks and distributed internationally by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group.

It was ranked the #1 series in Germany among young adults ages 14-29 in 2019 and 2010. “Since its debut in 2006, 'Germany's Next Top Model' has become a channel-defining brand for ProSieben – achieving consistently high ratings amongst an often hard-to-reach demographic – and we’re looking forward to seeing the success story of this fan-favorite continue," Gilbert said.

"Germany's Next Top Model" is an adaptation that shows a competition among models showcasing challenges related to beauty and fashion. The season 16 premiere of the show, which launched in early February on ProSieben, is considered the most successful launch for the series in the last ten years.
