Filming for the next instalment of the cult series "Glina" has wrapped. The series is set to premiere on SkyShowtime later this year. Legendary drama "Glina" returns to screens for the first time in 17 years, taking viewers back to the capital's streets, where policemen from the Homicide Department of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police must deal with violent crime and murder, the complexity of human passion, and coming face to face with their past.

"Glina" is the first co-production between SkyShowtime and Telewizja Polska, produced by Apple Film. Władysław Pasikowski ("Kroll", "Psy") and Dariusz Jabłoński ("Zasada przyjemności", "Wino truskawkowe") will serve as directors, while the script is written by Maciej Maciejewski. Magdalena Górka ("Jack Strong", "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds") and Piotr Lenar ("Pitbull", "Kryminalni") will be responsible for the cinematography and Michał Lorenc for the music.

Nela Maciejewska is a rising star and a graduate of the prestigious Les Ateliers du Sudden in Paris as well as the renowned Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles. She made her stage debut in Paris in the play "No Love?", which was followed by roles in two musicals: "Footloose" and "Young Frankenstein". After returning to Poland, Nela performed in productions at the Polish Theatre and the Powszechny Theatre in Radom ("Iwona, Princess of Burgundy" and "The Revenge"), as well as in several television series. Later this year, she will appear in one of the leading roles in "Glina", portraying aspiring officer Tamara Rudnik.
