SkyShowtime appoints Raquel Berzosa as General Manager for Iberia

Raquel Berzosa has been appointed as General Manager for Iberia at SkyShowtime, Paramount and Comcast’s streaming joint venture, to lead the launch of the platform in Spain and Portugal. Most recently, Berzosa served as VP of Affiliate Sales & Country Lead for Comcast sibling NBCUniversal in Iberia. Prior to that, she was Director of Affiliate Sales at NBCUniversal in the region, working across commercial and distribution, having first joined the company in 2000.

SkyShowtime is an upcoming subscription video on demand service which is expected to launch this year in more than 20 European territories encompassing 90 million homes. SkyShowtime will bring together entertainment, movies, and original series from the NBCUniversal, Sky and Paramount portfolio of brands, including titles from Showtime, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Paramount+ Originals, Sky Studios, Universal Pictures, and Peacock.

The streaming service’s vast offering will span 10.000 hours of content across all genres and audience categories, including scripted dramas, kids and family, key franchises, premiere movies, local programming, documentaries/factual content, and more. SkyShowtime will ultimately be available in the following markets: Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
