After the international acclaim of "Fire Will Come", auteur Oliver Laxe returns to directing with a new Movistar Plus+ original film produced in collaboration with El Deseo (production company of brothers Agustín and Pedro Almodóvar), Filmes Da Ermida, Uri Films and 4A4 Productions.

Filming will take place until June 16 in various locations in Aragon (around Teruel and Zaragoza) and Morocco and it will be released in cinemas and, subsequently, will be shown exclusively on the Movistar Plus+ platform.

This is the fourth project by Oliver Laxe, who has participated with all his previous films in the Cannes Film Festival and has won awards on every occasion: "Fire Will Come" (Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section), "Mimosas" (Grand Prize at the Critics' Week) and "You Are All Captains" (his first film, which won him the FIPRESCI Award at the Directors' Fortnight).

The film is written by Oliver Laxe and Santiago Fillol and stars the Catalan Sergi López (César Award for Best Actor and European Film Award for Best European Actor for "Harry, He Is Here to Help"), and the young Bruno Núñez ("La Mesías") together with a group of non-professional actors, something usual in Laxe's films.

In the words of Oliver Laxe: "Life will challenge the characters in the film, it will put them to the test in a radical and stark way, it will force them to ask themselves the important questions, to look inside, to search for the meaning of life, to draw from themselves the most beautiful thing that is contained in human nature. And they will live extreme adventures where the limits between life and death will be irremediably blurred. Sergi López will star in this journey accompanied by Bruno Núñez and a group of non-professional international actors. Together they will be the vehicle to show the convulsions that affect the world of our time, a time that is asking us all to look inside ourselves".

In the technical team, the film counts with great professionals such as Oriol Maymó ("The Invisible Line") in the production direction, Mauro Herce as director of photography, Laia Ateca as art director, Nadia Acimi as costume design and the musician David Kangding Ray, as composer of the soundtrack.

The film will be distributed in Spain by Bteam Pictures and its international sales will be handled by The Match Factory.
