STARZPLAY TO GLOBALLY PREMIERE "CONFRONTING A SERIAL KILLER"

The docuseries, produced by Joe Berlinger with Po Kutchin, is set to premier on Sunday, 18 April in Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latin America, Luxembourg, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, and the UK, with new episodes set to roll out every Sunday.

Starzplay is set to debut “Confronting a Serial Killer” on Sunday, 18 April, in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latin America, Luxembourg, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, and the UK. New episodes will air every Sunday.

The five-episode, docuseries is executively produced and directed by Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Joe Berlinger with Po Kutchins serving as showrunner and executive producer. The docuseries is produced by Lionsgate Television, Third Eye Motion Picture Company, and RadicalMedia.

Starzplay is compatible with smart TVs, iOS and Android mobile devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire tablets. Subscribers have access to an exclusive line-up of premium programming including Starz Original limited series “The Spanish Princess” and the explosive second chapter in the “Power” Universe, “Power Book II: Ghost” starring Mary J. Blige the same day they launch in the US.

The docuseries tells the story of the relationship between acclaimed author and journalist Jillian Lauren and the most prolific serial killer in American history, Sam Little, and her quest to identify victims. Through accounts told by survivors and investigators “Confronting a Serial Killer” shines a light on systemic issues in the American criminal justice system and other social problems such as racial injustice, addiction, mental trauma, among others.
