Content Americas 2025: SIC showcases new fiction and factual projects

SIC  will be back at Content Americas to showcase its catalog with the latest fiction and factual projects, which have been arousing great interest in international markets. With a long background of international distribution SIC titles have already reached over 140 territories and keep looking for more.

One of the highlights is our latest production, “Broken Promise”, adapted from the original Turkish format 'Ruthless City', by Kanal D, and nominated for Best Telenovela at the prestigious Rose d'Or Latino Awards 2025. Other highlights include the new season of the blockbuster and best seller - “The Good Girls Club”; the Gold Medal winner for Best Telenovela at the World Media Festivals - “Timeless Love”; César Mourão's romantic comedy - “Could Have Waited For August” (starring Kevin Dias, from 'Emily in Paris'); the mini-series “Lucia of Fatima”, now also available as a movie; and the extraordinary true crime documentary - “George”.

It’s good to remember that SIC Television made history in 1992 by becoming the first private channel in Portugal, as part of the Impresa Media Group. Alongside its free-to-air channel, SIC operates a diverse range of seven cable channels under its brand: SIC Notícias (24-hour news), SIC Mulher (targeted at female audiences), SIC Radical (geared toward male viewers), SIC K (for kids), SIC Caras (entertainment and lifestyle), SIC Internacional (serving Portuguese communities abroad), and SIC Internacional África (focused on African expatriates).
