EFM 2022: Mediawan Rights showcases "Godard Cinema" documentary

Mediawan announced that the international sales of "Godard Cinema", the first documentary of the Mediawan Rights Feature Length slate, will be launched at the EFM, which will be held online from 10 to 17 February.

"Godard Cinema" (1x90’), from 10.7 Productions, is a film that pays homage to an iconic figure of the French New Wave: Jean-Luc Godard. For the first time, a documentary recounts the whole of the mythical director’s career and asserts itself as his definitive biography, built around archives, film extracts and interviews. Amongst the personalities: Nathalie Baye, Julie Delpy, Pierre Lescure and Alain Bergala. The documentary is currently being shot and will be finished in May 2022.

Mediawan Rights is launching international sales at the upcoming online EFM in the hope that such a universal film will speak to distributors the world over, at a time when movie theaters are opening their doors once more and the film industry is undergoing numerous changes.
