Globo is participating in NEM Dubrovnik and NATPE Budapest, two of the main audiovisual industry events in Eastern Europe, presenting a robust and diverse portfolio. The company brings its latest releases, classic telenovelas, Globoplay Original series, and both scripted and unscripted formats to the events, reinforcing its expansion strategy in the region.
Among the highlights are the telenovelas "Crazy About You" and "She’s The One", as well as the new season of the action series "Anti-Kidnapping Unit". On June 9 at 5:55 PM, during NEM Dubrovnik, Rodrigo Nascimento, Head of International Sales – EMEA, will host the panel "Globo: 100 Years of Stories". The series was the first Brazilian production selected for the International Panorama Competition at Series Mania, in March this year.
Recently aired on Brazilian prime-time, "Crazy About You" is a telenovela by João Emanuel Carneiro, the acclaimed writer behind "Brazil Avenue" and "All The Flowers". The story centers on the friendship between Viola (Gabz, from "Perfect Love") and Luma (Agatha Moreira, from "Hidden Truths"), two women born on the same day who meet years later, connected by coincidences that go beyond their birthday.
"She’s The One", by Alessandra Poggi ("A Trick of Faith"), is set in the 1950s and follows Beatriz (Duda Santos, from "Rebirth") on a journey of self-discovery and reconciliation with her past as she reunites with the mother she believes abandoned her in childhood.
Created by José Junior ("Living on a Razor’s Edge") and José Luiz Magalhães and directed by Lipe Binder ("Living on a Razor’s Edge"), the new season of "Anti-Kidnapping Unit" features suspenseful and adrenaline-filled episodes, transporting viewers to late 1990s Rio de Janeiro. The plot follows detective Carlos Mendonça (Silvio Guindane) and inspector Juliano Santiago (Erom Cordeiro) in a challenging case within the Anti-Kidnapping Division.
In addition, Globo’s portfolio for NEM Dubrovnik and NATPE Budapest includes classic telenovelas such as "Brazil Avenue", "Her Own Destiny", and "Total Dreamer", as well as successful drama formats like "Justice", "All The Flowers", and "Trail of Lies".
