Globo arrives at MIP Cancun, one of the largest events aimed at the Latin and Hispanic market, with its main releases, classics, formats, and products for all viewing options. Furthermore, on the 21st, at 7:45 am, the company will host a breakfast for the first screening of the international episode of “Crazy About You,” a story by João Emanuel Carneiro (‘Brazil Avenue’), currently showing in prime time on TV Globo.

With unexpected twists, transformations, and new beginnings, “Crazy About You” begins with the friendship between two young women, Viola (Gabz from ‘Perfect Love’) and Luma (Agatha Moreira from ‘Hidden Truths’), who seem destined to literally enter each other's lives. Their journey is marked by complicity and rivalry that places them in a love quartet with Mavi (Chay Suede from ‘A Mother’s Love’) and Rudá (Nicolas Prattes from ‘All the Flowers’), impacted by a series of developments and surprises, including the secret surrounding a murder.

Isadora Filpi, Content Distribution & Partnerships praised the title:"The screening of ‘Crazy About You,’ a story by João Emanuel Carneiro, who created ‘Brazil Avenue,’ one of our best-selling products, is an opportunity to gauge how receptive the international market is. Additionally, it opens conversations about potential partnerships to bring the telenovela to new audiences,” noted.

Globo will also present at MIP Cancun the telenovelas “Rebirth,” “All the Flowers,” winner of the Rose d'Or Latinos, “Land of Desire,” “Crossed Paths,” and “Perfect Love.” The portfolio also includes Globoplay Originals such as the series “The Game,” “Justice: Misconduct,” winner of the Grand Prize at the Seoul International Drama Awards, and “The Others,” as well as documentaries such as “Xuxa, A Life On TV” and “Rio-Paris: The Tragedy of Flight 447.”

Investing in the sale of scripted formats, the telenovelas “The Other Side of Paradise” and “Trail of Lies” are the highlights of the portfolio. Within this business model, the company recently announced at MIPCOM the sale of “The Others” to Greece and German-speaking countries/regions and “Justice: Life is Not Fair” to Greece. For unscripted formats, Globo presents “Make It Sweet,” a competition focused on confectionery; “What Is Your Story?”, which welcomes celebrities and non-celebrities to share unusual and fun stories; and “About Us,” a variety show that features pairs of couples, friends, or siblings discussing relationships.

In the Classic & Big Hits project, with timeless stories that have captivated audiences, the company brings tales such as “The Clone,” “Terra Nostra,” and “Anything for Love.” In the catalog of products focused on AVOD platforms, the highlights are the telenovelas “The Life We Lead,” “A Life Worth Living,” and the International Emmy winner “Precious Pearl.”

Finally, Regiane Marcilio, Content Distribution & Partnerships:“We are bringing a robust portfolio to MIP Cancun, featuring stories from different genres, including drama series like 'The Others' and action series like 'The Game', which contain elements that can connect with various viewers. Additionally, telenovelas such as 'Rebirth' and 'Land of Desire' have already been negotiated for several countries in Latin America. In line with market trends, we also have titles for sale in formats and for AVOD platforms," commented.
