ZED has won the MIPDOC Project Pitch with its acquisition project "Caligula’s Hidden Legacy" (2!52' for Histoire TV), at the MIP London first edition that was held February 23-27. Directed by Vivien Floris and Gokce Ozer and produced by Alma Productions (Marie de Maublanc) and presented by ZED's founder Manuel Catteau, the film was one of five finalists chosen by the jury from among the 85 documentary projects submitted.

Following recent archaeological discoveries, "Caligula's Hidden Legacy" explores Caligula’s incredible architectural legacy through international experts’ insights and 3D modeling, while challenging everything we thought we knew about Rome’s most infamous emperor. The program has already been pre-sold to FTV Prima (Czech Republic).

According to Marie de Maublanc, producer of the film and co-founder of Alma Productions: “Winning this award at MIP LONDON strengthens our commitment to Caligula’s Hidden Legacy, a groundbreaking historical investigation unveiling, for the first time, the true scope of the emperor’s reign. Caligula has fascinated for centuries, and through recent archaeological discoveries, we are shedding new light on the final mysteries surrounding his legacy.”
