Quintus Studios unveils a diverse line-up of premium factual co-production projects that it will be premiering with buyers at MIPTV in Cannes this year. The Quintus Originals series include topic such as the death-defying truckers, the brutality of homelessness in Las Vegas and ex-convict stories. All the shows have pilot episodes completed or currently in production.
The new Quintus Originals are: "Mission to Collision: Kenya's Flying Trucks" (5x60’ Africa Live Media for Quintus Originals) where audiences can see how Kenyan truckers transport the most perishable local products. The 1 x 60’ pilot episode follows drivers and characters on two routes in Kenya from Meru to Nairobi and from Meru to Lamu.
"Poverty to Paradise: Las Vegas" (5x60’ New Take Films for Quintus Originals) that explores the realities of being homeless in one of America’s most touristic cities, how every day is a battle for survival and how communities must co-exist together in order to live another day.
"Banged Up: My Story" (5x60’ Middlechild Productions for Quintus Originals) features first-hand from ex-convicts from some of the toughest prisons in the world. And "Wild Cats" (1x60’ KM Plus for Quintus Originals) that takes viewers on a journey through sub-Saharan Africa to the jungles of India and over the snow-covered mountains of North America to the magnificent Amazon Rainforest.
