Paramount+ celebrated the premiere of its upcoming Spanish-language originals for Latin America with Foro Paramount+, an exclusive event held at the Sofitel Mexico City. The cast of the "Los Enviados", "Cecilia", "At Midnight", and "No Te Claves" shared the stage with members of the press, as well as ViacomCBS executives and partners, to discuss their experiences participating in these releases, coming soon to the premium streaming platform.

In celebration of Foro Paramount+, the Sofitel was decked out in Paramount+ colors and featured a Blue Carpet with the directors and main stars of the new shows. The event opened with a special greeting from JC Acosta, President of ViacomCBS International Studios & Southern Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa Networks, and included various activities for attendees, including one-on-one interviews, press junkets, pitch rooms, and a VIP dinner.

Argentine director, screenwriter, and Oscar winner Juan José Campanella, who leads "Los Enviados", was joined by members of the series’ cast: Miguel Rodarte, Luis Gerardo Méndez, and Irene Azuela. The Paramount+ original thriller is set to premiere on December 12. Also in attendance was the star of "Cecilia", actress Mariana Treviño (Club de Cuervos, Nacos: México and 100 Días Para Enamorarnos) as well as Michel Brown, Erick Hayser, Marimar Vega and César Bono.

Representing "At Midnight", were Mexican star Diego Boneta, Monica Barbaro, who was recently announced as part the film’s cast, and their director Jonah Feingold. Together they discussed details for the film which is set to start production soon for a 2022 premiere on Paramount+. Monica Barbaro is represented by UTA, Main Title Entertainment, and Meyer & Downs. Also joining this stellar mountain of entertainment were the voices of Backdoor, the Mexican humor collective that breathes life into "No Te Claves", the animated Christmas parody special.

Starring Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Luis Gerardo Méndez, and Irene Azuelta, and directed by Academy Award winning director and screenwriter Juan José Campanella, "Los Enviados" is an action-thriller that follows two Vatican priests who travel to Mexico, where they must verify the alleged miraculous healings of another priest. While there, the priest mysteriously disappears and their lives, as well as their faith, are pushed to the limit when they discover the psychiatric community located on the outskirts of town, that seems to hide more than one secret regarding the healing priest and his disappearance.

"Cecilia" is an eight-episode dramedy that tells the story of Cecilia, played by Mariana Treviño (Club de Cuervos, Narcos: México, 100 Días Para Enamorarnos), a creative, charismatic, and audacious woman who has transformed her parents’ bakery, through sheer talent and hard work, into a thriving business. However, her own fears and inner conflicts have created a world where her family is completely dependent on her, and love has been replaced by need. The world Cecilia rules seemingly falls apart when she suffers a stroke. But what at first seems like a tragedy, ends up being an opportunity for Cecilia to put aside her pride and give her family an opportunity to step up and thrive without her, ultimately uniting her family.

Moreover, "At Midnight" is a romantic comedy about two people who have made the "safe" choice not to fall in love. Alejandro, portrayed by Diego Boneta, lives a predictable life that is going according to his well-thought-out plan. Jessica, played by Monica Barbaro, is a gorgeous movie star on the rise with an unreliable celebrity boyfriend. All this changes when fate brings them together.

Finally, "No Te Claves" is the first animated content of the Backdoor (Porta dos Fundos) Christmas Special franchise offers a comedic look at the life of Jesus before he was Christ, arriving at a new high school and, with the help of his friend Lazaro, trying to fit in. The special will follow the misadventures of a group of friends as they navigate life in high school and will undoubtedly push the boundaries by showing just how bad kids can be.
