Royal Television Society reveals full programme for RTS London Convention 2022

Director, producer and writer Baz Luhrmann joins the roster of high-profile industry leaders speaking at the event that will take place on Tuesday 27th September.

The Royal Television Society (RTS) features the full programme for the RTS London Convention 2022, sponsored by Warner Bros. Discovery. Academy Award nominated and BAFTA winning director, producer and writer Baz Luhrmann ("Elvis", "The Great Gatsby") joins the roster of high-profile industry leaders speaking at the event and will be joined in conversation with TV presenter Edith Bowman discussing the power of creativity.

The biennial one-day event, taking place on Tuesday 27th September 2022 at Kings Place, London is titled “The Fight for Attention”. Global leaders will gather to discuss the future evolution of the television industry both in the UK and globally. The agenda this year includes sessions such as ‘A Traveller’s Guide To The Metaverse’, films from new Warner Bros. Discovery film-making initiative Black Britain Unspoken, ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Global Formats’, ‘The News Evolution’, CNN’s forensic journalism team unpack how they use high tech and investigation to hunt down the truth, and keynote sessions featuring UK and global leaders in entertainment.
