Unifrance
The 15th edition of Series Mania will take place in Lille from March 21 to 28, 2025 and in this context, Unifrance will be organizing the tenth Coming Next from France on Tuesday, March 25, and will be present at both the Forum and the festival to promote the quality of French scripted creation.
The five new French series Unifrance will be presenting during Coming Next from France are: "Kitchen Hustle", distributed by France tv distribution; "Fake, distributed by Have A Good One; "Don’t Know", distributed par Mediawan Rights; "Montmartre", distributed par Newen Connect and "Jailbreakers", distributed by Oble.
These five series testify to the diversity, innovation, and expertise of French scripted works. They offer a wide range of writing styles, universes, aesthetics, and genres (action, drama, history, detective, romance, thriller, societal, young adult...), and feature both established actors and promising new faces. Each of these works delivers singular and innovative stories and offers a rich and pertinent reflection of French society, past and present.
SERIES MANIA FORUM
Unifrance will once again partner with the Series Mania Forum to host the Welcome Drinks on March 24, the opening cocktail of the professional meetings, attended by a predominantly international crowd. The organization will also offer its members a space to host their meetings in the Business Lounge.
In 2025, French creations are very well represented in the program, with 22 French works in all sections of the festival: Opening and Closing, International Competition, Panorama, French Competition, Short Form Competition, Special Screenings, including Documentary Series.
SERIES MANIA FESTIVAL
The festival's main juries will include many of the faces of French TV and cinema. Actress Karin Viard and composer Victor Le Masne will sit on the International Competition jury.
