TV FRANCE ANNOUNCES NOMINEES OF ITS 17TH INTERNATIONAL EXPORT AWARDS

PGS Entertainment; Mediatoon; Cyber Group; ARTE Distribution; Lucky You; ZED; Newen; Gaumont; and Mediawan are participating in the competition.

TV France International announces the nine nominees of its 17th International Export Awards that will take place online from September 6 - 8. The event is held annually to recognize distribution companies whose animation, documentary and fiction programs, entrusted to them by their producers, have proved themselves on the international marketplace for several years, with excellent sales records.

THE NOMINEES

For the Animation Export Award will compete PGS Entertainment for "Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks" - Season 3 (52 x 11’), produced by Bagdasarian Productions, Technicolor Animation Productions with the direction of Frédéric Vilquin, Janice Karman and aired on M6.

Mediatoon Distribution for "Bobby and Bill" - Season 1 (52x12’),  under production of Dargaud Media, Belvision, Ellipsanime Productions, RTBF, directed by Philippe Vidal and broadcasted on France 3.

Cyber Group Studios for "Gigantosaurus" - Season 1 (52x11’), produced by Cyber Group Studios, directed by Olivier Lelardoux and aired on France 5.

For the Documentary Export Award will participate ARTE Distribution for "700 Sharks" - (1 x 52' UHD or 1 x 92’ UHD), produced by ARTE France, Le Cinquième Rêve, Andromède Océanologie and Les Gens bien Productions, under direction of Luc Marescot and broadcasted on ARTE.

Lucky You for "Higher and Higher" - (52’) (Collection: Masters of Engineering), under production of 2P2L, France Télévisions, directed by Emmanuelle Sudre, Alex Badin and aired on France 5.

ZED for "The Secret Versailles of Marie Antoinette" (52’ & 90’), produced by ZED, ARTE France, NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation and directed by Sylvie Faiveley, Mark Daniels. The documentary was originally aired on ARTE.

For the Fiction Export Award the nominees are Newen Connect for "Candice Renoir" - Season 1 (8x52’) produced by Boxeur 7 with the direction of Christophe Douchand, Nicolas Picard-Dreyfuss and aired on France 2.

Gaumont for "The Art of Crime" - Season 1 (6x60’) with the production of Gaumont Télévision and directed by Charlotte Brandström, Eric Woreth. The title was aired on France 2.

Mediawan for "Missions" - Season 2 (10x26’) produced by Empreinte Digitale with the direction of Julien Lacombe and aired on OCS.
