Vision Films is bringing to the global market a diverse slate of projects that reflect the company’s global approach to commercial entertainment. Among the highlights, Lise Romanoff, CEO and Managing Director, points to “Time Hoppers”, an animated feature film that will premiere theatrically in the U.S. on February 6, followed by releases in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. “It’s a time-travel adventure where kids have to go back and correct history because the bad guys are trying to erase it,” she explained.
The company also showcased new titles such as “Unseen Enemy”, an action-packed feature film that, according to Romanoff, “looks big-budget even though it’s not,” and two new Lifetime movies. Another key focus this year is “Fantasy Rising”, a two-hour documentary exploring the evolution of the fantasy genre — from "Game of Thrones" to "Harry Potter" and "The Lord of the Rings". “It’s not for kids — it’s a really in-depth look at how fantasy became such a global phenomenon,” she said.

In addition, Vision Films recently established a partnership with Beacon TV, a U.S. streaming channel specializing in paranormal programming. “We have five new series that we’re offering to international buyers,” Romanoff noted. One of those titles is "Paranormal Mysteries," a six-episode series reunites the team behind "The Holzer Files" Dave Schrader, Shane Pittman, and psychic medium Cindy Kaza, as they investigate the world’s most chilling supernatural phenomena, from hauntings and glimpses of the afterlife to UFOs, cryptids, and alternate dimensions.
STRONG FOCUS
While Vision Films’ projects mainly originate in English, they come from a range of markets including the U.S., U.K., and Germany. “As long as it’s in English and commercial, we’ll consider it,” she explained. “We don’t do art house films or very low-budget indies — our movies need to be good for TV and AVOD these days.”
The company continues to focus on clean, entertaining, and uplifting content. “We specialize in family, romantic comedy, and straight-up action,” Romanoff said. “I also enjoy cause-based stories — films about people overcoming cancer or disabilities and winning in the end. Very positive stories — those work really well for us.”
Regarding market trends, Romanoff highlighted a shift in revenue models: “Licensing has come down and AVOD and revenue share have gone up. I’m happy to see that all the distributors I used to license to are now starting their own channels. Everyone’s finding their footing.”
