Vision Films hired Scott Kamins as their new Executive Director of International Sales and Strategic Partnerships. His role supports Vision’s ongoing expansion into the world of direct global distribution and strengthening relationships with existing clients. Kamins will report directly to CEO/Managing Director Lise Romanoff.

“We are looking forward to Scott not only closing licensing deals with established distributors and TV channels in each territory but also seeking out strategic relationships with new VOD platforms where we can maximize revenue on our extensive library of feature films and documentaries. The world of VOD is growing so fast, and it takes tenacity to keep up. We are confident that with Scott on board, our extensive catalog of new releases and library will benefit from his long-term expertise,” Lise Romanoff stated.

“I look forward to representing Vision to the global market and expanding their international footprint as the appetite for quality films and diverse content only continues to grow,” Scott Kamins added.

Kamins comes to Vision Films from Cinedigm Entertainment Group and Vivendi Entertainment, where he previously held executive posts in Digital Distribution, Sales, and Content Partnerships. He has also held leadership roles at Geffen and Interscope Records over his 20-year career in the entertainment business that has spanned music, film, TV, digital, and new technologies.

Over the past couple of years, Vision has expanded its efforts into the international marketplace, closing output deals directly with VOD operators around the globe, including Rakuten in Europe (Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Benelux, and the UK); Amazon’s FreeVee in the UK; Dutch Channels and OD Media in Holland; Zylo.tv, W4tch.tv, Molotov in France, Vix, Univision, and Televisa in Latin America, as well as several global YouTube Channels such as Movie Central, Amago, and Little Dot. The company has also worked with many US-based channels, Roku, Pluto.tv, Peacock, iTunes, GooglePlay, and Amazon. They are expanding in many parts of the world, and Vision is in sync and ready to support each of them.
