In its latest study about SVOD demand in Colombia, Parrot Analytics revealed which were the most outstanding series in the country during November. The company contextualized each title within the market by stating the show's performance as a difference from the average demand for a series in the market. A difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is ten times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.

In November, the most demanded digital original series in Colombia was Disney+'s “The Mandalorian,” whose season 2 premiered on October 30, two weeks before the OTT's launch in Latin America. Compared to October, the hit show grew 84% more in-demand in Novemeber, and was 19x times more in-demand than the average show in Colombia.

However, the show with the greatest growth in demand since October 2020 was Netflix's “The Crown”, as its demand has increased 201% in November. “The Crown's” fourth season is the most popular yet, and Colombians demand for the show was 7.5x greater than the average show.

“The Crown” success seems to also come with rising success of multiple Netflix shows. While the historical drama rose 16 ranks, “Stranger Things” and “Narcos” also moved up a spot, knocking out “Titans,” which was the second most in-demand show during October.

Despite its third season debuting in June 2020, “Dark,” a German-language original series, made it into the top 10 digital originals in November. The show moved up four spots with 3.6x the average show's demand in Colombia, demonstrating its ability to travel worldwide.
