ITVX launched several exclusive ads produced to promote the streamer's comedy season, which premiered on June 1st. The series of ads feature acting talent from upcoming ITVX comedy commissions, including Alan Carr (Changing Ends), Katherine Parkinson (Significant Other), Youssef Kerkour (Significant Other), Arian Nik (Count Abdulla) and Jayde Adams (Ruby Speaking). The ads have been made in partnership with Epoch Films UK Ltd, directed by Jill (Phil Morrison and Joe Ventura), edited by Work Editorial, VFX, and color grade by Coffee & TV and audio by 750mph.

The ads consist of sharp-witted observations of office life, where clowns have suddenly joined the workforce. The clowns add a streak of unexpected color and humor to the workplace, showing that 'comedy is back in the building' at ITVX. "We are thrilled to be adding such a fantastic range of comedies to the thousands of hours already available to enjoy for free on ITVX. We wanted to bring this to life in a way that will catch the minds of our viewers while showcasing key talent from our fresh comedy commissions," Jane Stiller, Chief Marketing Officer ITV, commented.

ITVX viewers can sample the comedy season immediately, with "Changing Ends," starring and written by BAFTA-winning Alan Carr, available now. Next week features the launch of the heartwarming comedy-drama "Significant Other" starring Katherine Parkinson and Youssef Kerkour. "Count Abdulla," starring Arian Nik and Jamie Winstone, which sees a young British-Pakistani Muslim doctor in an identity crisis bitten by a vampire, is next, launching on June 15th, and "Ruby Speaking," starring and co-created by Jayde Adams, inspired by the years she spent working in a call center, launches on June 22nd.
