MEDIASET INCREASES ITS PARTICIPATION IN PROSIEBENSAT.1

Mediaset España announced the acquisition of 9,902,500 shares of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, which represent a 4.25% of the share capital of this company, valued at approximately €61 million.

Along with the 5.5% that was already acquired in November of last year, Mediaset España now holds 9.75% of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE’s share capital, consolidating itself as the first shareholder of the group.

Mediaset justified the purchase as a further step in the creation of a European audiovisual giant, reinforcing its strategy "of building a pan-European investment portfolio with access to the main markets".
