“The Musical of Your Life” was commissioned in Spain by Mediaset España

The format “The Musical of Your Life” has been commissioned in Spain by Mediaset España for a first season to premiere on Telecinco, which will air it under the title “El musical de tu vida.” The Spanish deal is the second success story under the exclusive production agreement between The Mediapro Studio and distributor Be-Entertainment that was announced late last year.

“The Musical of Your Life” is already a breakout hit in its home country Belgium, with two highly successful seasons on air on Play4 to date, and a third season in the making. The show, originally produced by Dedsit, won the Rose D’Or for best entertainment format last November and was previously commissioned by Prosieben in Germany.

Each episode of “The Musical of Your Life” pays tribute to a beloved celebrity. This well-known individual is invited to a theater to join the host for a unique up-close and personal interview, during which five of the most memorable moments of his or her life are turned into moving musical scenes performed live on stage. After each scene, the celebrity reflects on those important moments.
