Univision revealed its digital and social media programming slate for the new season of “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” (Look Who’s Dancing or MQB), the megahit dance competition starring celebrities showing off their best dance moves for a philanthropic cause. The multiplatform coverage includes a digital show, exclusive social-first content and series, as well as a new campaign reaching Gen Z audience on the mega popular social media platform TikTok. “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” premieres this Sunday, January 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) on Univision.
Fans will be on their toes as the show’s mentor, beloved dancer and choreographer Toni Costa, takes them into the dance studio during rehearsals in the digital series “MQB Ensayos” (MQB Rehearsals). In the series – available every Friday morning on @Miraquienbaila – fans will see exclusive behind-the-scenes content as Costa provides feedback to the celebrity cast while they prepare for the show. The digital series begins Friday, January 17.
This year MQB All Stars will reach Gen-Z audiences via the globally popular social media platform, TikTok. The fun, exciting videos will keep fans engaged with the celebrity cast and push them to use their own creativity to join in the dance competition fun. Univision’s first campaign on TikTok features influencers and MQB talent to create buzz and excitement around the new season.
MQB’s Digital and Social Behind-the-Scenes Access Shows
“MQB Estrellas” (MQB Stars)is already available and gives viewers an opportunity to get to know the stars behind “Mira Quien Baila All Stars” on Instagram. Fans will hear from the celebrity cast, judges and guest stars as they share their expectations for this season as well as get an intimate look at their careers. Available Sunday evenings on all the social platforms.
“Sin Filtro” (No Filter)will give fans exclusive access into what happens within the show on a weekly basis – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Fans will be able to tune in via Instagram Stories every Saturday. “Sin Filtro” returns on Saturday, January 18.
“Baila Como Toni” (Dance like Toni) is a new digital series in which the competition’s beloved mentor and choreographer Toni Costa will share tips with the audience on how to spice up their dance moves. The show premieres Sunday, January 12 and will stream every Wednesday, at 8 p.m. on Instagram.
“MQB Extra,” the popular series that recaps every show after it airs, returns for a new season. “MQB Extra” will be voiced by backstage reporter Amara La Negra and begins Sunday, January 12 at 10 p.m. on Twitter, Instagramand Facebook.
“Mira Quién Baila All Stars” is hosted by Chiquinquirá Delgado and Javier Poza with backstage reporter Amara la Negra and Toni Costa as the show’s mentor. The judging panel includes former Miss Universe and winner of MQB’s fifth season Dayanara Torres, creative director and professional dancer Casper Smart, and Mexican actress, professional dancer and singer Bianca Marroquín.
