Atlantyca Entertainment partners with evision for "Geronimo Stilton"

The animated series will air on EJunior in July. Season one and two will be available via Etisalat UAE, Etisalat Misr in Egypt  and Mobily in KSA, while Season 3 is set for their Pay TV service in the UAE.

Atlantyca Entertainment has secured a broadcast agreement with evision, from e&, formerly known as Etisalat Group, for its globally popular Geronimo Stilton animated children's TV series, which will air in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in July. "ejunior has always been a favourite kids channel in UAE and remains the most-watched in light of the significant efforts we have taken to bring the best in kids' entertainment to the region," Fatiha Bensalem, Director, ejunior, said. 

The first two seasons of the show will be made available on ejunior’s on-demand service in the MENA region via Etisalat UAE, Etisalat Misr in Egypt  and Mobily in KSA, while Season 3 is set for their Pay TV service in the UAE, with a total of 78 episodes. Additional seasons will be rolled out in July 2022. "The young viewers in this region have always been true and loyal Geronimo Stilton fans," stated Alessandra Dematteis, Distribution Manager, Atlantyca Entertainment. "We are certain that they have anxiously been waiting for the adventures to continue. The company has been the producer of the three fully completed seasons  of the international hit. The animated series is based on the books of the same name and features the adventures of the most famous mouse journalist. "The Geronimo Stilton" series of books are published in Italy by Edizioni-Mondadori Libri and Scholastic, in the US. The brand has become a global phenomenon, with 180 million books sold worldwide in 51 languages.  Atlantyca recently inked a number of deals earlier this year for the series, where RTVE (Spain) has renewed Free TV rights to Seasons 1 and 2 for Clan Channel; IEG PT Indonesia Entertainment Group (Indonesia) takes Pay TV and OTT rights of Season 1; Asiana Licensing (Korea) secures renewal rights for DVD of Season 3; and Netflix has renewed SVOD rights of season 2 and acquired season 3 for Italy.

The mouse journalist has been featured in innumerable live shows, worldwide musicals, and video games. The series has been translated into over 40 languages and distributed in over 130 countries. Atlantyca Entertainment manages all of the IP rights for the Geronimo Stilton brand and all of its character spin-offs, in addition to the company's other productions, the Bat Pat, Berry Bees and the new live action Snow Black brands and all of their franchises.
