Banijay's "Limitless Win" to be adapted in Germany by RTL

Banijay will have global distribution rights for the title.

Banijay confirmed Endemol Shine Germany's plans to produce "Limitless Win" (Ohne Limit) for RTL Germany. Created by Hello Dolly and co-developed and co-produced by Mitre Studios and Hello Dolly in the UK, this marks the first international adaptation of the format which has already been commissioned for a second run on ITV, hosted by Ant and Dec. “'Limitless Win' is the perfect addition to our slate as it is original, creative and entertaining," Fabian Tobias, Managing Director of Endemol Shine Germany said. "With the world’s first- ever limitless jackpot, there is such a lot at stake for the contestants and audiences will be on the edge of their seats!”

Banijay will be tasked with handling all international global distribution processes for the title. “We’re thrilled to hear that Limitless Win is heading to Germany. It’s innovative, ground-breaking, nail-biting and fantastically play along. We love making the show and we are sure it will be as popular with the German audience as it is here in the UK.”

Endemol Shine Germany is credited with producing other successful titles, inlcuding "LEGO ® Masters," "Celebrity Hunted," "Celebrity Big Brother," and "All Together Now," as well as its own devised IP such as Masters of Sweet and Chefs to Go. “As we prepare for the next series of Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win with Mitre Studios, the news of the format being brought to German audiences is hugely exciting," Hello Dolly’s Chief Executive, Victoria Ashbourne, said. With an achieved viewer-count of 6.2 million viewers in the UK, the title shows the world’s first-ever limitless jackpot. Pairs of contestants first earn lives with a series of quick-fire questions, before taking on the limitless ladder. The answer to every question is a number, but there is no room for error, only the correct answer banks cash. Underestimating the answer loses them lives, and if they overshoot, they are eliminated. In this nail-biting game of high stakes, the contestant double-acts have the chance to walk away with a life-changing sum of money. “Limitless Win is such a unique, nail-biting and entertaining watch for all the family, and as well as the RTL Germany format celebration, we look forward to bringing the excitement to even more markets,” Lucas Green, Global Head of Content Operations at Banijay, said.
