"Guess What?"
Be-Entertainment has secured the global distribution rights of the celebrity guessing game "Guess What?". The game show is slated to premiere on April 12th on VTM in Belgium under the local title "De Omgekeerde Wereld".
The show from Belgian producer KoekenTroef will see two non-celebrity duos compete against each other. Their aim is to answer general knowledge questions, but - more importantly - to guess how smart and skillful the country's favorite celebrities are. The format features the celebrities’ pre-recorded reactions and answers that are cleverly used to make sure all episodes are fast paced and fun filled.
After playing four rounds, the duos must each select one celebrity to help them secure their spot in the final round. The winners of the daily episodes go head to head in that week's final, which takes one duo one step closer to win an even bigger amount in the grand final.
Says Be-Entertainment MD Gepke Nederlof: “We’re very excited to bring 'Guess What?' to the international market. The set up of the format makes it easy to produce fun and fast paced episodes in any country and it is very suitable to schedule multiple nights a week.”
Recently, the distributor also announced the global represetation of the brand-new music entertainment competition "Pop Quiz Champions" which will be launched on April 1st in a key primetime slot. The show is produced by Flemish hit producer Panenka who are internationally known for their successful titles such as "Taboo" and "Switch".
