Bomanbridge Media has started 2024 with a number of factual sales to Arte, A+E Italy, DR Denmark, RTVE Spain, TV3 Catalunya, Mediawan, Czech TV, TVNZ and APT US. "Paul Goes To Hollywood" (4x60’), the company’s co-production with UKTV was picked up by RTL in the Netherlands, as well APT in the USA, Spain’s RTVE and France’s Mediawan.

True Crime series "Secrets of The Interrogation Room" (10x60’) was acquired by A+E Italy, while TV3 Catalunya is tapping into the increasing bear-human confrontations with "Valley of The Bears" (1x60’) which looks into the conflict between residents and the local Grizzly bear population in the beautiful Bella Coola valley in British Columbia.

Elsewhere, Bomanbridge’s long-standing co-operation with UK producer Seventh Art enjoyed several new deals for its flagship Arts documentary series “Exhibition On Screen”. Following its recent premiere on PBS US earlier this month, "Hopper: An American Love Story" (1x60’), written and directed by BAFTA-winner Phil Grabsky, has been acquired by Arte France together with "Pissarro: Father of Impressionism" (1x60’).

Denmark’s DR opted for the sumptuously filmed MIPCOM launch "Klimt and The Kiss" (1x60’) along with "Mary Cassatt: Painting The Modern Woman" (1x60’) and "Sunflowers" (1x60’).

The Arts series also proved its popularity in Asia through deals with PTS Taiwan for "Pissarro: Father of Impressionism" (1x60’), "Hopper: An American Love Story" (1x60’) and "Mary Cassatt: Painting The Modern Woman" (1x60’), with the latter also going to TVB Hong Kong.

Seventh Art’s BAFTA winner "My Childhood My Country: 20 Years In Afghanistan" (1x60’) continued its international success with a pick-up by Czech TV.

Finally, TVNZ opted for the Richard Gere narrated climate change documentary "Earth Emergency" (1x60’) from West One International.
