CESKA TELEVISE ACQUIRED AWARD WINNING DOC “MEDITERANEAN SEA”

The title is internationally distributed by Prime Entertainmen Group and won multiple awards. Previusly, Ceska Televize bought “Cities of Crime” and “The True Story of Angelina Jolie” from the French distributor.

Prime Entertainment Group, French based producer dans distributor, closed a deal with Czech Republic broadcaster Česká Televise, for award winning 4K documentary, “Mediteranean Sea” (1x52’). “We are very happy to have closed this deal with Ceska Televiza. They have been important business partners in the past with whom we’ve had successful relationships. We are very happy our content is appealing to their audience and hope to continue offering the variety of programs in the future,” says Alexandra Marguerite, Head of Sales, Alexandra Marguerite of Prime entertainment Group in Paris.

Initially produced for leading broadcasting group France Television, since airing, the 4K documentary has won no shortage of rewards, winning best movie at the Seafest festival at Saint-Petersburg in Russia and the bronze Galathea, organized by the International Galathea Festival for sea life at Hyeres in France.

It is not the first time Ceska Televize turns to Prime for high quality programs. Indeed, over the years, the channel has also signed for “Cities of Crime” (5x52’), a series of investigation documentaries on some of the most dangerous cities on earth, as well as “The True Story of Angelina Jolie” (1x52’) a close-up portrait of one of Hollywood’s most famous actresses.

Česká Televize  is a public television broadcaster in Czech Republic, currently broadcasting six channels. In addition to the main channels ČT1 and ČT2, the brand has since 2005 launched new networks, individually dedicated to news, art and culture, sports, and a children’s channel.
