Cineflix Rights secures scripted and factual deals ahead of NATPE Budapest

Cineflix Rights has secured various global deals with Central and Eastern European and Southern Mediterranean broadcasters for scripted and factual content, ahead of NATPE Budapest 2022. “I’m delighted to be closing these deals for some of our long-running scripted shows and recently acquired factual content with our partners in the region," Lucy Rawson VP, Sales, Africa, CEE, Middle East, and Southern Mediterranean, Cineflix Rights, who will be attending NATPE Budapest said. "I’m really looking forward to returning to NATPE Budapest in person with a strong slate of new content to launch to buyers at the market.”

On the scripted side, Tanweer has bought all three seasons of the thriller "Marcella," produced by Buccaneer Media for ITV, UK, and Netflix, worldwide for ERT in Greece, and Disney+ has taken Season 1 of the eight-part series, "Coroner" for its streaming platforms covering the Balkans and Bulgaria.

The deal's true crime titles have received continuous positive feedback with "John Wayne Gacy: Killer Clown’s Revenge," a four-part series produced by Hoff Productions for Reelz in the US, acquired by TV JOJ in the Czech Republic's "Battle of Alcatraz," a two-part series produced by Hoff Productions for Reelz, US, bought by AMCNI for Spektrum channel in Central Europe, FTV Prima on the Czech Republic, and AETN in Poland. Meanwhile "Kino" in Poland has acquired Secret Nazi Expeditions, a Go Button Media production system for Super Channel, Canada, for its Stopklatka channel, and Smart Home Nation for Zoom TV.
