Cyber Group secures licensing deal for "Gigantosaurus" in the Middle East

The French company has named CMC Global, also known as P@P, licensing agent for "Gigantosaurus" in the Middle East. The first-ever "Gigantosaurus" products available in the region will be a collection of toys arriving at retail next fall.

Cyber Group Studios has named CMC Global, also known as P@P, licensing agent for "Gigantosaurus" in the Middle East. "We're thrilled to have CMC Global on board to help develop the Gigantosaurus licensing business in this region," Bruno Danzel d’Aumont, International Licensing & Marketing Vice President at Cyber Group Studios said.

The first-ever "Gigantosaurus" products available in the region will be a collection of toys arriving at retail next fall. The distribution of these fun-filled series- inspired toys will be expertly handled by iBrands ME, a toy/entertainment distribution company also based in Dubai (UAE).

Under the new partnership, Dubai (UAE)- based P@P, will oversee the development of the licensing business across the region.  The brand-new Gigantosaurus toy range is the result of the partnership between the brand’s master toy licensee United Smile and Cyber Group Studios. The move will extend Gigantosaurus's presence in the Middle East and bring the adventurous spirit of the series directly to young audiences across the region. "We're thrilled to join forces with Cyber Group Studios, United Smile, and iBrand Me to launch the Gigantosaurus licensing program across the region," Mr. Camille Madi, Chief Operating Officer at CMC Global, said. "This beloved global preschool favorite brims with tremendous potential. We eagerly anticipate making Gigantosaurus toys available and bringing joy to children."

The announcement follows the success of the show in the region upon debuting in the Middle East on Disney+, Netflix, Majid, and Disney Junior. The comedy adventure series is currently streaming worldwide on Disney+ and Netflix and airing around the world on major channels such as Disney Junior (worldwide), France Télévisions, RAI YOYO in Italy, Tiny POP in the UK, Super RTL in Germany, RTVE - Clan in Spain, CCTV (China), TV Azteca (Mexico), and NHK (Japan), among others. "Gigantosaurus is captivating audiences worldwide with its enthralling storylines and beloved characters," D'Aumont said. "Through this strategic collaboration with CMC Global, we're set to elevate the brand’s success even further through the launch of the new toy range."

"Gigantosaurus" has been recognized by the Pulcinella Award for Best TV Series, Common Sense Media Award, and National Parenting Products Award. It also won the 2021 Export Award for Animation for having the best sales records worldwide. Based on Jonny Duddle’s book published by Bonnier Books UK Ltd, which has sold over 600,000 copies worldwide, the animated series Gigantosaurus follows the adventures of four young dinos – Rocky, Bill, Tiny, and Mazu – as they go on quests to explore their world, face their fears, work together to solve problems, learn more about the mysterious Gigantosaurus himself – and have lots of fun all along the way. The larger-than-life series incorporates more than 40 real dinosaur species as well as realistically rendered flora and fauna that is true to the time period.
