Dreamspark and Studio 89's new strategy game "The Power" premieres in France

French channel W9 will launch the daily program on April 1. The show features 13 celebrities known for their competitive spirit and strategic skills, spanning over several weeks.

French channel W9 will launch the daily strategy game series, "The Power", created by Dreamspark and Studio 89 on Monday, April 1. The show centers on one critical question: Who holds the power? and features 13 celebrities (including reality stars, TV personalities, and influencers) known for their competitive spirit and strategic skills, spanning over several weeks.

Set in an isolated house amidst arid lands and surveilled by the drones of Delta, a diabolical Artificial Intelligence, the contestants come together to participate in this strategic game. Each week, a player secretly gains control over the house and the lives of the other occupants, becoming the Power Player. This individual decides where others sleep, what they eat, who enjoys certain privileges, who faces challenges, and who suffers disadvantages in the game. The Power Player must hide their identity to stay in the competition. At the end of each week, they can choose a target, a contestant who is up for elimination. The targeted contestant's only chance to stay is by identifying the Power Player, who must leave if exposed.


The show will air in the same timeslot as the reality competitions “Good Luck Guys” and “The Fifty.” These formats, originally launched on W9, have achieved international success, with "Good Luck Guys" being adapted in 7 countries and "The Fifty" in 3 countries.
