Dynamic Television recently brought in entertainment industry veteran Carrie Stein as President of Scripted Television. “Carrie is a very accomplished and respected executive and one of the few who can navigate the U.S., UK, Canadian, and European markets both creatively and commercially. Her experience, knowledge, and understanding of our interconnected industry will be a tremendous asset to Dynamic,” said Daniel March, Managing Partner of Dynamic Television. “We’re expecting Carrie to accomplish great things here.”
Under her new role, Stein will be tasked with leading Dynamic’s U.S. scripted development slate and expanding its portfolio of global drama thru acquisitions and strategic partnerships. She will report directly to Dan March, Managing Partner, and will be based in the company’s Los Angeles office. Stein joins Dynamic Television most recently from AfterShock Media, where she led its global film and television business and was charged with expanding the company’s comic book slate internationally, and forging relationships with producers, writers, and platforms.
With more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of the entertainment business including film, television development, packaging and financing, and production. Her specialty over the last 15 years has been developing and packaging scripted series for the global market, including co-productions, presales, and original productions in local markets. She has held several high-profile posts including previously, where she was Executive Vice President of Global Scripted Series for Kew Media Group, responsible for creating and building a global scripted drama business for the new, public global media company.
Before that, Stein was Executive Vice President of Global Scripted Content for eOne where she was responsible for expanding the company both corporately and commercially in the global space, strengthening strategic alliances with global producers, as well as packaging and overseeing production for several international co-productions.“I’m thrilled to join Dynamic after closely watching the company ascend over the past few years.
