Starting October 1, Fernando Jerez will be the new Business Manager of Non-Scripted at Mediacrest, taking charge of managing the area, which includes Entertainment and Documentaries, from creative direction to content execution for both national and international clients. He will work alongside Raquel Pérez, Head of Entertainment, and Israel López, Head of Documentaries.

Jerez brings extensive experience in the sector to Mediacrest and a business development profile in an area of significant importance for this phase of the company led by Francisco Pou. Following his role as director of #0 and Non-Fiction Originals at Movistar+, Fernando Jerez joined Fremantle to lead the Spanish division of Documentaries and Factual within the brand En Cero Coma Producciones. Previously, the executive was the general director of Discovery in Spain and Portugal and launched DMAX. Fernando Jerez's arrival at the company reaffirms Mediacrest's consolidation in the premium segment of Non-Scripted production and strengthens its position in the international market with products, formats, and strategic alliances.

Francisco Pou, CEO of Mediacrest, commented: "The incorporation of Fernando Jerez is a joy and a reason to face this phase of significant growth for the production company with even more confidence. He, along with Raquel Pérez and Israel López, forms a top-level team." With his appointment, Mediacrest, according to Pou, "continues to bring top professionals into its team, always renewing it with one goal in mind: to grow and grow with a people-centered model."
