Filmrise acquires US AVOD and FAST rights to BBC Studios’ content

The New York-based film, television studio and streaming network FilmRise has licensed AVOD and FAST rights to over 480 episodes of programming from BBC Studios for the FilmRise Streaming Network, with several shows available to stream immediately.

The package includes various series of different genres, notably 23 seasons of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning crime drama “Silent Witness”; four seasons of the Emmy-nominated “Wallander”; five seasons of “Ripper Street”; popular sci-fi series “Primeval”; and Canadian time-travel favorite “Being Erica”; as well as titles such as “Scott and Bailey,” “Misfits,” and “Life and Death Row,” among others.
