Filmsharks' "The Boogeyman" picked up by Mantícora and Prime Video

Filmsharks signed a deal with distributor Mantícora who has taken the rights of Spanish fantasy/horror film "The Boogeyman: The Origin of the Myth" ("El Hombre del Saco. El origen del mito") for Latin America, USA and Canada. The deal was in the frame of Cannes market, where Filmsharks has also sold Spanish SVOD rights for the film to Amazon Prime Video and Free TV rights with Antena 3.

"The Boogeyman: The Origin of the Myth" was directed by Ángel Gómez Hernández ("Voces"), written by Juma Fodde ("You shall not Sleep"), Ignacio García Cucucovich; Ángel Gómez Hernández and Gustavo Hernández ("The Silent House"). The film is produced by Ignacio García Cucucovich, Álvaro Ariza Tirado, María Luisa Gutierrez and co-produced by Francisco Cordero & Ricardo Coeto by BTF Media.
