J2911Media's Head of Worldwide Acquisition, Distribution & New Project Engagement Vivian Reinoso announced the addition of the sports docufilm, "Doyenne" to its catalog. The company signed an exclusive global distribution agreement with production company De Raize Entertainment for the title.
"Doyenne" was originally created in Spanish, with English and Portuguese subtitles available. Some of the work De Raize is credited for inlcudes the development of innovative audiovisual projects. The producer specializes in writing and producing scripts for film, television, documentaries, commercials, and theater.
De Raíz's headquarters are located in Costa Rica, but the company also has offices based out of the US and Spain. J2911 has long been involved in the acquisition and distribution of both completed contnent and productions under development.
"Doyenne," showcases stories of women who indulge in sports, and their daily efforts to achieve their goals despite the inequality that is throwin at them in the industry. The purpose of the docufilm is to voice a common issue of nonacceptance experienced by athletes, concurrently as they receive praises for winning championships and medals.
