Look Mom! Productions, a Blue Ant Studios company, announced the appointment of Sam Chou to Creative Development Director in a newly created role as part of the studio’s ongoing expansion in North America.

Reporting to Managing Director, Josh Bowen, Sam is charged with leading Look Mom!’s creative development slate as the studio builds its offering with new adult animation projects for buyers in the U.S market and around the globe. He is also responsible for introducing new projects to Look Mom!, which he will produce and direct.

“Sam is a highly sought after creator and developer who brings a swiss-army set of built-in tools to his leadership role at Look Mom! Productions, including raw talent and a keen eye for direction,” said Josh Bowen, Managing Director, Look Mom! Productions. “Sam’s vast experience also offers deep connections in the adult animation space across North America, which is critical to Look Mom!’s aspirations to produce scripted, animated dramas.”

Sam Chou is an award-winning series creator and director in the animation industry. A 20-year veteran, his career began as a traditional animator on feature films for Warner Bros, Sony, DreamWorks, and Disney.

Look Mom! Productions is specialized in producing original animated content for teens and adults. Look Mom!'s philosophy focuses on a creator-driven approach and prioritizes a collaborative process to produce the most compelling content for the audience.

Look Mom!’s slate of premium programming includes "Doomlands" (Quibi), Adult Swim Canada’s "Night Sweats", VRV's (USA) "Bigfoot", and "Gary and His Demons" for Mondo Channel on VRV (USA), CBC Gem (Canada), Comedy Central (UK) and ABC Comedy (Australia).

The company is executive producing "Ocean Village", currently in development at FOX, and is also known for digital shorts such as "Don’t Feed the Humans", "World Doctors, and "Crack-Duck".
