The Antena 3 series produced by Atresmedia TV, "Dreams of Freedom", was selected by the consulting firm The Wit as one of the most outstanding international fictions. The announcement was made at MIPTV, where The Wit announced the names of the fictions that make up its exclusive selection during the session "The Wit FRESH TV FICTION CONFERECES". The series is distributed internationally by Atresmedia TV International Sales, present at MIPTV 2024 at the Audiovisual from Spain booth (R7.H11).

"Dreams of Freedom" is the most watched series on television in Spain. It closed March as leader (13.8%), beating its two main rivals by +5.4 points. It achieved 2.1M unique viewers per episode and more than 1.3M viewers on average per episode. It also triumphed in time-shifted programming (+260,000 viewers on average).

"Dreams of Freedom" stars Natalia Sánchez, Alain Hernández, Dani Tatay and Nancho Novo and tells the story of Begoña Montes, a woman trapped in a toxic marriage, who seeks the longed-for freedom in Spain in 1958. Love, rivalry, family, friendship... in an optimistic, hopeful story full of secrets.

It is produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Diagonal (Banijay Iberia). Montse García, Jaume Banacolocha and Joan Noguera are the executive producers. Joan Noguera is in charge of the direction. Eulalia Carrillo is in charge of script coordination.

This is not the first time that The Wit highlights one of Atresmedia's series in its list of outstanding fictions. It did so recently with "Las Noches de Tefía" and "Rabia" in 2023 and with "El tiempo entre costuras" in 2013. The same year they also selected "El Internado" as "one of the best series of the last 50 years", "Mar de plástico" in 2015 and " El Incidente" and "Pulsaciones" in 2016, "La Valla" and "Veneno " in 2020.
