Quintus Studios announces two European broadcasters have acquired "Beyond Borders", a new documentary series created through the company’s disruptive partnership content funding model. ‘The series (5x60’), is a heart-stopping documentary series featuring exclusive access to US immigration frontline services ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) and was produced by US/ Irish indie true-crime specialists Peninsula Television.

“Quintus Originals is a great opportunity for entrepreneurial indie producers convinced of the potential of their productions and willing to invest in them alongside partners to move into production. ‘Beyond Borders’ is a great example of the benefits of the Quintus Originals model"’ said Quintus Studios Managing Director Gerrit Kemming.

DPG Media Group’s Belgian channel VTM and RTL Germany’s NTV have both acquired the series which will also play out across Quintus Studios’ Free Documentary channel in the US, UK, AUS, India, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.

"Beyond Borders" captures in gripping detail the high stakes game of cat and mouse played out every day across America between law enforcement and those regarded as foreign criminals evading justice. The Quintus Originals' financing model sees Quintus partner with indie producers to co-finance projects alongside their AVOD channels and linear broadcasters, generating longer term income from the lifetime exploitation of productions across all potential broadcast and digital channels.

“Quintus is a terrific partner to work with and saw the appeal of this show from the start. We are looking forward to working with them to develop this franchise further” said David Harvey, CEO of Peninsula Television.
