"Paradis City"
After a successful debut at the 44th Gothenburg Film Festival TV Drama Vision, "Paradis City" is available worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. It´s a collaboration between the Swedish production company Strive Stories and Paprika Studios as a co-production partner.
The six-part series is set in Sweden in the near future, where prison-like walls separate privileged citizens from dangerous zones governed by special laws. When the Minister of the Interior delivers a speech in the largest and most perilous of these sealed-off zones, known as Paradis City, she is kidnapped by masked men. The security services then blackmail a former MMA fighter, sentenced to life imprisonment, into venturing into Paradis City to rescue her—if he ever wants to see his daughter again. Paprika Studios Lithuania handled everything from production management to locations, sets, costumes, props, and filming equipment for both Lithuanian and Swedish locations.
