Quintus Studios has appointed Fred Gillingham as Development and Production Executive, strengthening its commitment to data-driven content development and expanding its slate of Quintus Originals. In his new role, Gillingham will leverage Quintus Studios’ extensive YouTube analytics to generate content ideas informed by audience insights. He will identify compelling people and places for original programming, develop treatments, and secure access before handing projects over to external production partners for execution.

As a producer, director, and video journalist, Gillingham will also remain hands-on in the field, occasionally taking on shooting responsibilities. Working with Creative Director Adam Jacobs, Fred will play a key role in shaping Quintus Studios’ Originals strategy, driving the development of engaging, platform-optimised factual content. Prior to joining Quintus Studios, Gillingham held freelance roles at broadcasters and publishers including Al Jazeera Media Network and Insider.

Adam Jacobs, Creative Director at Quintus Studios praised the exec: “Fred’s diverse experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of content creation and production processes, making him a valuable addition to the Quintus team. We’re delighted he’s joining us on a permanent basis," commented,

Finally, Fred Gillingham, Quintus Studios Development and Production Executive pointed to the regions he wants to focus his work on: “I am delighted to be joining the in-house team at Quintus during this exciting time for the company as it seeks to scale up its content across its channels. I’m particularly interested in hearing from homegrown talent in Latin America, Asia and Africa," stated.
