SkyShowtime and Netia have announced a new partnership that will bring SkyShowtime’s extensive lineup of Hollywood blockbusters, exclusive series, and local originals to both new and returning Netia customers. Launching on 22 August 2025, the agreement represents SkyShowtime’s latest distribution deal with a telecommunications partner in Poland.
Hristina Georgieva, Chief Business Officer at SkyShowtime, said: “The partnership with Netia marks another exciting step in our continued expansion across Poland. By joining forces, we’re making it even easier for audiences to enjoy SkyShowtime’s world-class entertainment, bringing them closer to the biggest Hollywood hits, exclusive series, and local originals, all in one place and at a great price.”
Tomasz Dakowski, General Director of B2C Area and Member of the Management Board at Netia, added: “Netia is a pioneer in the Polish market, offering attractive packages through partnerships with renowned streaming services featuring premium content. Since joining the Polsat Plus Group, our position in this sector has become even stronger and we are excited to provide our customers with access to high-quality streaming services. Our partnership with SkyShowtime is a significant step forward in delivering our subscribers a more comprehensive and appealing entertainment package that includes high-speed internet.”
As part of the rollout, customers in multi-family buildings covered by Netia’s own network who subscribe to high-speed wired internet, or to a package including television, will receive access to the SkyShowtime service at no additional cost for the full duration of their contract, which runs for 24 months. The bundled internet offers that include SkyShowtime are available not only through Netia’s own network in multi-dwelling units but also via its wholesale partners. While specific package details may vary, all offers provide a more attractive pricing structure compared to purchasing services separately.
SkyShowtime’s catalogue includes the latest cinematic hits, exclusive series, and original local productions. Among its most popular titles are productions from the Taylor Sheridan universe, including all seasons of the cult series "Yellowstone" and origin stories "1883" and "1923," along with "Landman" and "Tulsa King." Other global successes available on the platform include "Dexter: Resurrection," "MobLand," "The Day of the Jackal" and "The Agency." The service also features Polish original productions, such as the headline thriller "Langer," based on the novel by Remigiusz Mróz, and the crime drama "Śleboda." Two further Polish originals are currently in production: "Glina," a continuation of the iconic crime series, and "Krychowiak: One Step from the Top," SkyShowtime’s first Polish original documentary, both set to premiere later this year.
Netia, one of Poland’s largest telecommunications operators and a member of the Polsat Plus Group, delivers online communications and multimedia services to individuals, businesses, and institutions.
